Job Title: Vulnerability Technician
Location: Woodville, MS (Work from Office)
Duration: Long Term Contract
Key Responsibilities:
1-3 years of experience in vulnerability management, IT security, or a related field.
Experience with vulnerability scanning tools such as Nessus, Qualys, Rapid7 Nexpose, or OpenVAS.
Familiarity with network protocols, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and common enterprise applications.
Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, such as risk management, threat modeling, and security controls.
Proficiency with vulnerability scanning tools and remediation techniques.
Knowledge of patch management processes and secure configuration practices.
Ability to analyze and interpret vulnerability scan results, and prioritize remediation efforts.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and applications.
Familiarity with security frameworks and standards, such as NIST, CIS, and ISO 27001.
