Job description:
We are seeking a Cobol programmer to help our applications development team. The successful candidate will be familiar with all phases of the system development lifecycle and have strong analytic and problem-solving skills. The candidate will design, develop, test, and implement software solutions in alignment with defined business goals. The candidate will require a strong understanding of database management systems and application security.
Required skills:
· Experience with COBOL, ILE COBOL, CL, DB2, AS 400, CICS, Batch, SQL
· Demonstrated experience working with large, sequential, variable length files.
· Strong analytic and organizational skills
· Excellent communication skills
