Job Description:
Next-Gen Developer Experience Software Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Next-Generation Developer Experience Software Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on enhancing the productivity, efficiency, and satisfaction of our developers by creating, improving, and maintaining the tools, workflows, and environments they use. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that streamline development processes and foster innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Developer Portal that facilitates adoption and enables developers to streamline their application efforts.
- Design, develop, and maintain playbook for Cl/CO pipeline to automate build, test, and deployment processes with different deployment methodologies. Design, develop, and maintain developer tools and platforms that enhance the development workflow and productivity.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify and resolve developer pain points.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (laC) solution using tools like Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), AWS Cloud Formation, etc. Integrate automated security testing tools into the pipeline for security job zero.
Skills/Experience:
Minimum qualifications:
- BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in software development, DevOps, or a related field. Hands on experience with Cloud platform (Azure) and serverless architecture.
- Hands on experience on Azure API Management Developer Portal development and customization. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, .NET, or similar.
- Proficiency in containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with OpenAPI specification and SwaggerUI API.
- Familiarity with front-end applications concepts using Node.js, React.js and microservices architecture. Familiarity with Authentication and Authorization concepts such as 0Auth2, JWT.
- Proficiency in Cl/CD tools and platforms (e.g., Jenkins, GitHubActions, Gitlab)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (laC) tools such as Terraform, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), AWS Cloud Formation, etc. Strong understanding of application performance monitoring (APM) tools (e.g., Datadog, Azure Application Insights).
Preferred qualifications:
- Familiarity with Al and machine learning tools such as GitHub Copilot. Familiar with DORA metrics
- Understanding of modern software development practices and methodologies (e.g. Agile, SAFe, Scrum). Excellent problem-solving, strong analytical thinking and ability to adapt for new skills efficiently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
