SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Support Consultant

Location: New Jersey

An SAP Warehouse Management (WM) Support Consultant is responsible for maintaining and optimizing the SAP WM module to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Key responsibilities typically include:

  • System Maintenance and Support: Monitor the SAP WM system to ensure its smooth operation, promptly addressing any issues or errors that arise.
  • User Assistance: Provide support to end-users by resolving system-related queries and offering guidance on best practices within the SAP WM module.
  • Configuration Management: Assist in configuring the SAP WM module to align with organizational requirements, including setting up storage types, bins, and movement types.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve problems related to warehouse processes, such as inventory discrepancies or system integration challenges.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, process flows, and any modifications made to the SAP WM module.
  • Training: Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and effective utilization of the SAP WM system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements within the SAP WM framework.

Here’s the details of what the support team will be doing:

 Maintenance of SAP system Response, preliminary analysis, classification, prioritizing, management, and assignment and tracking of L1 tickets Provide solutions and implementation for L2 incidents of PP, QM, WM, MM, and SD with China remote team members Assist the China remote team in analyzing issues, proposing solutions, and implementing L2 issues of FICO and PS 2. Change request to SAP system Preliminary analysis, classification, evaluation, and assignment and management of change

 2. Change request to SAP system Preliminary analysis, classification, evaluation, and assignment and management of change request For change request of PP, QM, WM, MM, and SD, providing solution, evaluation, and implementation with China remote team members For change requirements of FICO and PS, assist the China remote team in analyzing change requirements, solutioning, evaluation, and implementation

 3. Maintenance of PMS and OA system Response and preliminary analysis of tickets Assist the PMS and OA teams in analyzing issues, solutioning, and implementing them

 4. Change request to PMS (Product Management System) and OA system Response to change requests and preliminary analysis Assist PMS and OA team to analyze change requests and propose solutions, and evaluate and implement solutions.

 5. Project implementation of other systems that interface with SAP Create a coordination plan/timeline for the SAP system based on the project plan Analyze the demand for the SAP system and evaluate resource and technical requirements Propose resource and technical solutions for the SAP system Manage and implement corresponding solutions for the SAP system
