Job Description:
Main skills: Data Business Analyst, claims analytics, knowledge graphs and Databricks
Technical Skills:
• Strong experience in healthcare claims analytics and knowledge of payer-provider data workflows.
• Proficiency with Databricks, SQL, and data pipeline design.
• Experience with knowledge graph technologies such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, or GraphQL.
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong Python or R skills for data processing and visualization.
Analytical Skills:
• Ability to interpret complex healthcare data and translate it into actionable insights.
• Experience with machine learning or advanced analytics is a plus.
Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in healthcare data analytics, with a focus on claims analytics.
• Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards such as HIPAA and FHIR.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in healthcare data analytics or related areas.
• Experience with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of advanced graph database techniques and ontology development.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Analytics
1. Analyze healthcare claims data to uncover trends, patterns, and insights to drive operational and strategic decisions.
2. Identify opportunities to optimize claims processing, reduce costs, and improve patient outcomes.
Knowledge Graph Implementation
3. Design and implement knowledge graphs to represent relationships between entities (e.g., providers, payers, patients, claims) for advanced data exploration.
4. Integrate knowledge graphs with data pipelines from Databricks to support real-time and batch data analysis.
5. Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure efficient data transformation and ingestion processes for the knowledge graph.
Data Management and Integration
6. Extract and process large volumes of healthcare data from Databricks and other cloud-based platforms, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
7. Develop and maintain data models that connect structured and unstructured datasets into a unified analytics framework.
Visualization and Reporting
8. Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries to communicate insights effectively.
9. Provide stakeholders with reports and visual narratives that highlight critical KPIs, trends, and actionable insights.
Stakeholder Collaboration
10. Work with business leaders, data scientists, and IT teams to define requirements and deliver data-driven solutions for claims analytics use cases.
11. Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare claims data, guiding stakeholders on data interpretation and usage.
Educational Qualifications: –
