Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior iOS Engineer with expertise in SwiftUI and Objective-C to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in iOS development, a deep understanding of mobile application architecture, and the ability to create and implement effective strategies. As a Senior iOS Engineer, you will act as a trusted advisor to our customers, providing technical guidance and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality iOS applications.
Key Responsibilities:
iOS Development:
Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using SwiftUI and Objective-C.
Implement new features and enhancements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following industry best practices and coding standards.
Architecture and Strategy:
Understand customer requirements and create effective strategies for iOS application development.
Design and implement scalable and maintainable mobile application architectures.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development team, ensuring alignment with project goals and customer expectations.
Customer Engagement:
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing technical expertise and recommendations.
Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
Conduct technical presentations and workshops to educate customers on iOS development best practices and emerging technologies.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
Continuous Improvement:
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in iOS development, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
Continuously improve development processes and practices to enhance team productivity and software quality.
Identify and implement opportunities for automation and optimization in the development workflow.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
Strong proficiency in SwiftUI and Objective-C.
Extensive experience with iOS development, including knowledge of UIKit, Core Data, and other iOS frameworks.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integration with backend services.
Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
Architecture and Strategy:
Proven experience in designing and implementing scalable and maintainable mobile application architectures.
Ability to create effective development strategies and provide technical leadership.
Customer Engagement:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor to customers.
Experience in conducting technical presentations and workshops.
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to mentor and guide junior developers.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in iOS development, with a focus on SwiftUI and Objective-C.
Previous experience in a senior developer or technical lead role is preferred.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with other mobile development frameworks and languages, such as Flutter or React Native.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and tools.
Understanding of accessibility standards and best practices.
