Job Title – Senior Data Engineer 

NEED USC CONSULTANTS ONLY

Required Skillsets:

Must have at least 10 years of professional experience using the below skills:

• At least 10 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer using Python, Spark, PySpark, and SQL in AWS environments
• Experience developing and deploying code using SQL, Python, or Spark (at least 8 years)
• Experience developing and deploying data pipelines in Cloud (at least 8 years)
• Strong background in AWS Services (like Glue, Athena, Lambda, Redshift, etc.) = (at least 8 years)
• Experience securing data using IAM (identity access management) and Active Directory (at least 6 years)
• Experience in developing LINUX/UNIX shell scripts (at least 5 to 6 years)
• Developer experience in big data or warehouse (Hadoop, DB2 LUW) environments (at least 6 years)
• Experience in monitoring and logging techniques to be used in conjunction with CloudWatch and Splunk (at least 6 years)
• Knowledge of version control tools and branching techniques like Artifactory, Jenkins, or BitBucket (at least 2 years)
• Experience with Agile (at least 6 years)
• Experience working at the financial services industry is strongly preferred but not required
• AWS Certification or AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification is a plus (this is strongly ideal)
• Good communication skills
