Job Title: Java Developer with UI Wireframe & Product Design Expertise
Location: New York City, NY
Work Type: Day 1 Onsite

Duration: 12 Months of Contract

Note: Relocation is fine with DL Copy & PP No. is Mandatory. Ready for F2F interview

 

About the Role

·         We are looking for a highly skilled Java Developer who also has a strong aptitude for UI/UX design. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java development and experience designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces using Figma and similar design tools. This hybrid role requires a candidate who can seamlessly integrate backend functionality with elegant and effective user experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop and maintain scalable and efficient Java applications.

·         Design and implement UI/UX wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma or similar tools.

·         Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to define and implement innovative solutions.

·         Integrate UI designs with Java-based applications, ensuring seamless user interactions.

·         Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine designs and functionality.

·         Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and UI/UX trends to implement best practices.

·         Optimize application performance for both backend systems and frontend interfaces.

·         Required Skills and Qualifications

·         Java Development: Strong proficiency in Java (core and advanced), with experience in frameworks like Spring/Spring Boot.

·         UI/UX Design: Proven experience in designing user interfaces and experiences using Figma and similar tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Sketch).

·         Frontend Development: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for collaborating with frontend teams.

·         API Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating them into applications.

·         Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.

·         Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

 

Preferred Qualifications

·         Knowledge of microservices architecture and cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

·         Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

·         Experience with version control systems like Git.

·         Basic knowledge of accessibility and responsive design principles.

·         Experience with UI testing tools and frameworks.
