Job Tittle :Teradata Administration

Location : San Ramon, CA (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for im administration of Teradata DB infrastructure.

· Responsible for capacity planning and estimating the requirements for lowering or increasing the capacity of the Teradata DB.

· Experience with Data Lake, Data Warehouses and Data Marts

· Consult on physical database implementations, PPI, skew analysis, join methods, and data access paths

· Establish and Maintain Backup and Recovery Policies and Procedures

· Experiences in backup and restore (BAR) design and implementation

· Very strong in database design, tuning, and trouble shooting

Skills:

· 6+ years experiences in Teradata Administration

· In depth knowledge of Linux Administration and Architecture

· In depth knowledge of Operations management ITIL Tools

· In depth knowledge of Data warehousing, Teradata Administration

· Good to have Performance, Monitoring- Scripting experience – write code and automate repeatable processes

· Experience with Automation tools like GIT, Jenkins.

· Cloud/VM experience – deploying and administration of apps on AWS.
