Job Description
This position will support the IT Business Transformation Analyst in the design and development of policies, procedures, and overarching training for Information Technology staff. The primary focus of this position will be on the Software Development Life Cycle and the adaption of the ITIL v3 Service Lifecycle’s five stages and included service management processes. In addition to developing new training materials, the position will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of existing training and updates as needed. Position will be responsible for developing e-learning modules. The selected candidate(s) will work directly with IT staff to understand their needs and develop training materials for their use and for the onboarding of new IT staff.
Skillset:
· Strong writing skills and technical knowledge
· Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to convey information to a varied audience both technical and nontechnical
· Working knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
· Ability to assess resources for accuracy and the ability to extract relevant data from large quantities of information
· Strong analysis skills to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems
· Strong understanding of the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
· Strong time management skills
· Basic knowledge of and ability to grasp technology related terminology and concepts
· Experience developing policies, procedures, and training
· Experience using workplace e-learning tools
· Experience using Microsoft Word
Preferences:
· ITIL knowledge or certification
· Experience using Articulate to develop workplace e-learning
· Experience with training design and development
· The preferred candidate will have 7 years of experience.
