Job Title: Technical Product Owner

Work Location: Littleton, CO 80120 (Initial Remote)

Contract duration (in months): 6

 

Job Details:

As a Technical Product Owner, you will work in a fast paced environment and collaborate cross-functionally with the project management, architecture, and other subject matter experts. With these teams you will work to deliver API integration across our retail wireless applications. The ideal candidate is experienced in implementing modern cloud-based platforms and tools, has an entrepreneurial mindset, strong communication skills, and excellent critical thinking skills. You will play a huge role in bridging the gap between the development team and our clients.

 

  • Create relationships with various stakeholders in order to get information, clear blockers, and push back when needed
  • Driving the product vision and utilizing it to create a dynamic product feature roadmap
  • Acting as the user proxy for the team and seek clarification from stakeholders and customers to understand the business need of a feature
  • Identify opportunities for improving existing processes and ability to implement said changes as a leader within the development team
  • Decomposing product and service features into workable user stories
  • Continually prioritizing and grooming product backlogs for cross-functional, full-stack integration teams.
  • Liaison between requests for new functionality and development team.
  • Lead Scrum activities for the development team
  • Coordinating cross-team delivery, managing dependencies, and defining best practices
  • Sharing and evangelizing the work completed, product backlog, and Scrum team metrics.

 

SKILL REQUIREMENTS.

  • Technical in API development and integration. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and working knowledge of enterprise solution architecture principles.
  • Self-starter and ability to figure out a complicated environment.
  • 10+ years of enterprise product ownership experience
  • 5+ years of enterprise software/API integration experience
  • Experience creating targeted systems analysis documentation, sample JSON, API contracts, flow charts or other technical docs
  • Ability of performing troubleshooting assistance
  • Must have experience working with offshore teams
  • Wireless retail experience is a big plus
  • Order system processing and design experience is a big plus
  • AWS experience with Lambdas and Step Functions is a plus
  • Apigee experience a plus
  • Experience with the following technologies/areas: Java, Spring Boot, Python, and Open API Spec are a plus
