Requirements :

• Design, develop, and deploy ETL workflows and data mappings using Talend Studio to transform and load data into Snowflake.
• Create and optimize ETL/ELT processes that integrate with various data sources, ensuring efficient data flow and performance.
• Independently build Talend jobs from day one, understanding business requirements and translating them into technical requirements.
• Create DDL and views in Snowflake.
• (Preferred) Familiarity with Python for writing ETL pipelines in a data warehouse environment.
• Develop data quality checks and controls in Talend to monitor data accuracy, completeness, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues by implementing data validation, cleansing, and enrichment rules.
• Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of SQL scripts, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Analyze datasets in Snowflake and ensure data integrity and reliability.
• Design and implement data mappings to convert raw data into structured formats that align with business needs.
• Utilize Talend to transform, clean, and normalize data, making it ready for analytical use.
• Work closely with stakeholders to define mapping requirements, ensuring they align with data model specifications.
• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, workflows, and data models.
• Document troubleshooting steps, enhancements, and process improvements for future reference and team knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate effectively with business users and external teams.
• Provide regular updates on project progress, challenges, and results, ensuring alignment with the overall data strategy.
• Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously on complex tasks from day one, including troubleshooting and resolving data integration and quality issues without supervision.
• Quickly adapt to new challenges and take initiative in optimizing workflows and improving data quality independently.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in ETL development, Snowflake optimization, and data governance.
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements within Talend workflows and propose solutions to the team.
• Ensure all data handling practices adhere to organizational standards, compliance requirements, and security protocols.
• Implement data lineage and auditing practices within Talend to provide transparency and traceability for data processing steps.
• Preferred knowledge on TMC/ Talend administration.
