Qualifications:
Minimum of 10+ years in IT software architecture and development with significant expertise in AWS, Java microservices, and modern UI frameworks (React or Angular).
Database Expertise: Extensive experience with PostgreSQL, Document DB, and Elasticsearch, including designing and managing complex data models.
Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
Cloud Monitoring: Experience with cloud monitoring tools and practices, including AWS CloudWatch and other related technologies.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage complex projects, and drive successful project outcomes.
Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
Configuration Management: Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet and Ansible.
Scripting Languages: Proficiency in one or more scripting languages, such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
Modern Cloud-Native Design: Experience with modern cloud-native design principles, including containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
Software Modularization: Experience with software modularization and modernization strategies to enhance system flexibility and scalability.
Scheduling Tool: BMC Control M experience is a plus for configuring job executions and administrative activities.
Teradata MDM: MDM system experience is a plus.
