Job Description: Azure Cloud Administrator
About the Position
Seeking a seasoned Senior Azure Cloud Administrator to architect, implement, and manage our Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. This role demands extensive expertise in Azure services, cloud
architecture principles, and enterprise-scale cloud operations.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and implement Azure cloud solutions aligned with business requirements and best practices.
- Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure, including virtual networks, storage, compute resources, and PaaS services.
- Lead cloud security implementation and compliance initiatives.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
- Automate cloud operations using Azure DevOps, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
- Implement and maintain Identity and Access Management (Azure AD).
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior cloud engineers.
- Drive cloud adoption and migration initiatives.
- Establish and maintain cloud governance frameworks.
Technical Requirements
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud platform.
- Current Azure certifications (AZ-303/304, AZ-500, or equivalent).
- Expert knowledge of Azure core services:
- Azure Virtual Machines and Virtual Networks
- Azure Storage solutions
- Azure Active Directory and Identity Management
- Azure Security and Compliance tools
- Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Azure Backup and Site Recovery
- Strong experience with:
- Infrastructure as Code (ARM templates, Terraform)
- PowerShell and Azure CLI scripting
- Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
- Cloud networking and security concepts
- Load balancing and high availability solutions
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with:
- Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Azure Functions and App Services
- Azure Front Door and CDN
- Azure Policy and Blueprints
- Cost optimization and cloud financial management
- Multi-cloud environments

Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Microsoft Azure certifications required:
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent.
- Additional Azure certifications preferred.
Experience:
- 7+ years in cloud architecture and implementation.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience with Azure cloud services.
- 11+ years with DevOps methodologies.
- 5+ years with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- 5+ years with Azure Functions and App Services.
- 5+ years with Azure Front Door and CDN.
- 5+ years with Azure Policy and Blueprints.
- 6+ years in multi-cloud environments.
- 10+ years in security and compliance management.
- 16+ years conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty.
- 16+ years preparing complex technical documentation.
