SharePoint Coordinator

The Corporate Communications Team is looking to add a contractor that is responsible for managing and executing the enterprise-wide platform migration from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online, working across the LOBs to audit and migrate content as well as training content owners on editorial standards and content management best practices. 
 
Position Accountabilities

  • Communicate with content owners their migration timeline, expectations and action items 
  • Work with stakeholders to best use the SharePoint Online template to achieve all content needs 
  • Work with the corporate communications team to update the business on the progress and expectations of the SharePoint Online migration 

TRAINING 

  • Work with LOBs to identify their enterprise content needs and page contributors 
  • Work with our Tech teams to create and disseminate SharePoint Online content management trainings including content types, permissions and best practices 
  • Serve as the point of contact for LOBs as they audit and migrate content 
  • Serve as a consultant for LOBs on how to best use SharePoint Online functionalities  

 
Organizational Relationship 
This assignment reports to the Assistant Vice President, Manager of Corporate Communications. 
 
Position Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills 

  • Excellent communication skills, including writing, editing, proof reading and speaking
  • Must have a working knowledge of generally accepted business practices for enterprise content management 
  • Prior experience working with SharePoint Online preferred  
  • Proficient computer skills relevant to Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with attention to details 
  • Flexible, able to adapt to change
