Position: Senior Java Backend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement backend solutions using Java/Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

• Participate in agile ceremonies, contributing to project design, task definition, and solution implementation.

• Drive the adoption of software development best practices, mentoring peers and contributing to communities of practice.

• Design and deliver APIs, real-time data streams, and infrastructure as code (IaaS) using AWS and Terraform.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Proficient in Java/Spring Boot, including Java 21+.

• Experienced in REST API development and containerization technologies.

• Familiar with software development best practices and security principles.

• Skilled in version control using Git and GitHub.

• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and collaboration skills.

• Experienced in developing applications on OSX.

• Proficient in unit testing using JUnit.
