We are seeking a skilled to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience working with AWS services, cloud SDK, infrastructure as code (specifically Terraform), and programming skills. You will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Architecture & Design: Lead the design and implementation of highly available, cost-effective, and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS, etc.
- Automation & Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and manage infrastructure automation using Terraform to provision and manage resources in AWS.
- Cloud SDK Expertise: Write custom automation scripts using AWS SDKs (Python, JavaScript, etc.) to integrate with AWS services.
- DevOps & CI/CD Pipelines: Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate build, test, and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, and AWS CodePipeline.
- Monitoring & Optimization: Implement monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and third-party tools, ensuring optimal performance and security of cloud infrastructure.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure cloud infrastructure adheres to best practices in security and compliance, implementing IAM roles/policies, encryption, and regular audits.
- Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, troubleshoot complex issues, and mentor junior engineers.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in cloud engineering, with a strong focus on AWS services and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with AWS SDK (Python, JavaScript, or other programming languages).
- Expertise in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and managing AWS resources.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security best practices.
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools like AWS ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes.
- Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and others.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex cloud-based environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional, or similar certifications.
- Experience with serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, API Gateway, etc.).
- Familiarity with AWS Security Services such as AWS Shield, WAF, GuardDuty.
- Knowledge of microservices and distributed systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
