Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to lead and support the implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP EWM solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SAP EWM functionalities, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business requirements and design SAP EWM solutions to enhance warehouse operations.
Configure and customize SAP EWM modules to meet operational and functional requirements.
Integrate SAP EWM with other SAP modules, including SAP MM, SD, and TM.
Conduct workshops, gather requirements, and prepare detailed documentation for functional and technical specifications.
Support end-to-end implementation projects, including system design, testing, training, and go-live activities.
Optimize warehouse management processes such as inbound/outbound processing, inventory management, and picking strategies.
Collaborate with business stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues within SAP EWM.
Perform system upgrades, enhancements, and performance tuning for SAP EWM.
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective adoption of SAP EWM solutions.
Ensure compliance with project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support.
In-depth understanding of warehouse management processes and SAP EWM functionalities, including RF Framework, Yard Management, and Labor Management.
Hands-on experience with SAP EWM configuration, customization, and integration.
Strong knowledge of SAP ECC modules (MM, SD, PP) and S/4HANA is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
SAP EWM certification is an advantage.
Preferred Experience:
Experience in project management and leadership roles in SAP EWM implementations.
Knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) integration.
Familiarity with automated warehouse systems and technologies (e.g., barcode scanners, conveyors).
