Role: Technical Business Systems Analyst

Location: Remote

Job Description:

Required Technical Skills

Business Analysis Tools:
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar for requirements management and collaboration.
- Experience creating detailed process flow diagrams using tools like Lucidchart, Visio, or Draw.io.
SQL and Databases:
- Strong knowledge of SQL for querying databases and analyzing data.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Proficiency with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Excel Pivot Tables for reporting purposes.
- Understanding of data modeling and analysis techniques.
System Integration:
- Experience working with APIs, web services, and system integrations.
- Understanding of technologies like RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and middleware tools.
Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC):
- Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Technical Documentation:
- Ability to write clear and concise technical and functional specifications.
Cloud & Other Tech Skills (Optional, based on project needs):
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge (e.g., Python, JavaScript, or Shell scripting) would be a plus.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in a technical role.
Experience working on enterprise systems, ERP solutions, or SaaS platforms.
Knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools like JIRA.
Familiarity with cloud technologies, DevOps processes, and modern software architectures.
