Role: Senior Test Lead (12+ Years of Experience)

Location: McLean VA hybrid

Responsibilities:

Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive automation strategy for testing applications.
Oversee and mentor the application team to enhance their continuous delivery processes.
Facilitate and lead code review sessions, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Guide and support testers and automation engineers in designing testing approaches, developing scripts, executing tests, and generating detailed reports.
Analyze test results and oversee defect resolution tasks, ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, integrating them into current projects to drive innovation.
Champion the adoption of automation practices across teams to streamline software development processes and improve efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing strategies with business goals.

Mandatory Qualifications:

Over 12 years of proven experience with deep expertise in Java, Selenium, BDD & TDD, Cucumber, Gherkin, and CI/CD tools.
Extensive experience in API automation, with proficiency in REST Assured or Karate; skilled in both front-end and back-end automation.
Strong knowledge of databases such as DB2, MongoDB, or Snowflake, with experience in writing complex SQL queries.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence and engage with all levels of management.
