Role- Project Manager-Cloud & Container
Location- Atlanta or Seattle (No Hybrid or Remote)
Experience – 8+ years
Objectives of this role:
- Lead team scrums to define product vision, roadmap, and growth opportunities, and communicate with stakeholders throughout the project
- Collaborate with internal and external contacts to analyze needs and align product roadmap to strategic goals
- Work closely with product managers and business teams to create and maintain product backlog according to business value or ROI
- Remain up to date on trends and best practices for agile project management
Responsibilities:
- Design software and business processes, including process modeling and user story grooming, in industrial verticals including the heavy platforms Cloud foundry and Kubernetes.
- Interpret business requirements and create capabilities in Jira Align, breaking them into features and functional/technical user stories in Jira.
- Refine the functional and technical user stories with the offshore and onshore Devops including the review of the test cases with SDETs and Manual testing team.
- Partner with multiple businesses enterprise-wide, MTS, and various stakeholders to define the current customer experience, identify areas of improvement, and use the inputs to create and drive product vision and Roadmap.
- Design and develop integration scripts and procedures using Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) tools and integrate with backend services.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Good understanding of cloud computing principles, including virtualization, containerization, microservices, and serverless computing; Risk Management, RHCOS security, container security, Kubernetes security, IAM security, network security, auditing, encryption, secrets management and data protection, securing CI/CD
- Experience with IAM Policy ‘as code’ ; OPA – Open Policy Agent (Styra Enterprise version of OPA); Cedar – Aws opensource policy agent
- Ability to be a technically strong individual with an IT Security background who has demonstrated skill in managing product teams; solid understanding of how IT Security enhances Digital Transformation and identifies new ways of helping bring new business solutions to market while remaining secure
- Experience with Public Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and GCP
- Experience with Container Technologies like EKS, AKS, OpenShift, Kubernetes on On-premises
- Familiar with automation tools and frameworks (Ansible, Terraform, Crossplane)
- Familiar with coding and scripting languages (eg, Python, GO, Bash)
- Designing and building the Customer Journey for application or Kubernetes platform team using Grafana Dashboards;
- Converting high level business requirements into features/user stories using Agile tools, Jira, and Jira Align;
- Collaborating with business teams/customer teams to identify the pain points in the customer journey, and work on providing resolutions by creating and driving the vision and roadmap using Roadmunk
- Verifying and validating data in the Facility Pricing tool to assess customer risk, collateral, profitability, and fees through SQL Queries using Oracle SQL Developer tool.
