ORACLE BRM SENIOR (Support) Developer/ Engineer

Location:  Miami, FL preferred or Dallas, TX (eventually onsite daily; upfront 2-3 x in office a week)

OT = 15 hrs per week

1. Technical expertise in Oracle Billing and Revenue Management (BRM)

2. Problem solving and trouble shooting skills

3. Communication and Collaboration

 

 

Oracle BRM (Billing and Revenue Management) 24×7 Support Engineer key responsibilities:

 

1. **Round-the-Clock Monitoring**: Continuously monitor the BRM system to detect and address issues promptly, ensuring minimal downtime

2. **Incident Management**: Respond to and resolve incidents and service requests within agreed service levels, providing timely updates to stakeholders

3. **System Maintenance**: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as patching, upgrades, and performance tuning to keep the system running smoothly

4. **Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution**: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, working closely with other IT teams and vendors as needed

5. **Data Integrity and Security**: Ensure the integrity and security of customer data, implementing necessary measures to protect against data breaches and loss

6. **Documentation**: Maintain detailed documentation of incidents, resolutions, system configurations, and procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity

7. **User Support and Training**: Provide support and training to end-users, helping them navigate and utilize the BRM system effectively

8. **Performance Monitoring and Optimization**: Continuously monitor system performance and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability

9. **Compliance and Reporting**: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and prepare regular reports on system performance and incidents

10. **Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement new features, enhancements, and integrations

 

Team player- collaborate with offshore team in India to ensure 24X7 support
