Job Description:

Must-Have

Provide technical design and architectural leadership to one or more teams and projects, to ensure applications are integrated and adhere to stated architectural and design principles and standards.
Evaluate business requirements in the early stages of projects to determine what software, integration technologies, system architectures, and patterns should be employed to meet business objectives efficiently.
Provide technical design and architectural leadership, including documenting and diagramming solution architectures.
Communicate best practices by giving presentations, working with project teams, and authoring content aimed at educating others about standards, strategies, and otherwise defined best practices.
Design solutions that reduce costs, increase efficiencies, provide more value and capabilities, reduce risks, and increase security.
Collaborate with the JSM technical team in developing scalable, efficient, and maintainable solutions using Atlassian tools.
Experience using Java and web-based architectures and technologies (REST, XML, JSON)
Integrate Jira seamlessly with various tools and platforms like Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, and Jenkins.
Familiarity with Jira plugins and add-ons such as Jira Service Management (formerly Jira Service Desk), Script Runner.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills, customer-serving attitude, and ability to deal with cultural diversity.
ITSM and ITIL familiarity is required (ITIL Foundations certification preferred)
At least 2 years of experience as an Architect or Solutions lead on ITSM Implementations projects
At least 3-5 years’ experience in developing on the ITSM platform including the customization of the core applications such as Portal, Case, Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog, Knowledge Management
Experience working with Agile teams, methodologies, and tools in a virtual environment.
Ability to keep a product vision at the forefront of the conversation and articulate design decisions impacts to maintenance and longevity
