Title: Java Developer
Location: Chicago, IL (3 Days Onsite in a week)
Experience: 7+ Years
We are seeking a talented Java Developer with a strong understanding of Terraform to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Java programming, along with experience in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Java applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Java frameworks like Spring Boot.
- Work with Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of infrastructure resources on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Integrate with various backend systems and databases.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing to ensure application quality.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the Java and cloud computing ecosystems.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language and object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience with Java frameworks like Spring Boot, Hibernate, or Spring MVC.
- In-depth knowledge of Terraform and its best practices.
- Understanding of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with infrastructure as code principles.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Bash or Python.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Certifications in Java or cloud platforms
