Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer who specializes in safeguarding complex network environments. This role is integral to enhancing network security protocols and managing systems to protect against a range of security threats. With hands-on experience in Cisco observability, Cisco ACI/security, and Cisco collaboration solutions, as well as Palo Alto Cortex and Palo Alto Prisma, the ideal candidate will develop, maintain, and optimize security frameworks to prevent and respond to network intrusions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Network Security Monitoring & Threat Detection: Use Cisco observability tools to monitor network activities and implement real-time alerts for detecting suspicious actions.
  • Secure Configuration Management: Configure and manage firewalls and network segments using Cisco ACI/security, enforcing strict security policies.
  • Cloud & Endpoint Security Management: Secure endpoints with Palo Alto Cortex and enforce cloud security policies via Palo Alto Prisma.
  • Incident Response & Recovery: Lead network security incident response, coordinating containment, analysis, and documentation, and applying lessons for future prevention.
  • Access Control & Policy Enforcement: Design and enforce access control policies using Cisco ACI/security and Palo Alto solutions, auditing for security and compliance.
  • Collaboration Security: Secure Cisco collaboration tools and integrate security policies across communication channels.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in network security engineering roles, with specific expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto security solutions.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CCNP Security, PCNSE, or relevant Cisco/Palo Alto security certifications.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, VPN configuration, SIEM tools, and vulnerability management practices.
  • Soft Skills: Analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to managing security risks.
