Long Term Contract
Responsibilities:
- Assessing requirements for corporate data and voice networks
- Planning, designing, upgrading network installation projects
- Establishing and maintaining backup, version control, and viral defense systems
- Troubleshooting network architecture
- Making recommendations for leveraging network installations and reducing operational costs
- Weekly status reports:
- Tasks accomplished, planned tasks that are incomplete or behind, upcoming tasks, status of any corrective actions taken.
- Current status of technical progress and contractual obligations, achievements to date, risks, unresolved issues, action items, other changes to the project team or deliverable schedule.
Required Skills include knowledge of the following:
- Cisco firewalls (design, implementation, config, and admin)
- NAT, PAT and other advanced firewall administration
- Network routing, switching, troubleshooting, design, and best practices
- Visio for network diagrams
- Software-defined networking and network security principles
- VPN administration
- AWS and Azure Cloud Infrastructure
- DNS
- Load Balancers
- DHCP Administration
Cisco ASA/Firepower, Palo Alto NGFW, IPS, IDS, Remote Connectivity, various monitoring systems, complex networking & firewall configuration, expert troubleshooting of multiple systems
