Position: Oracle Financials – Techno-Functional
Duration: Contract
Location: Seattle, WA and Dallas, TX
Job Description:
- knowledge on helping us set up an Oracle Fusion sandbox – will he be able to configure the master data required to support OTC, create basic workflows to enable the OTC process, and help us create and fulfill orders using the UI
Technical Skills:
1. Oracle Financial ERP System Knowledge:
o Deep understanding of Oracle Financials modules (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Order to Cash, Device Life Cycle, Purchasing, and Expenses) from both a data and process end to end flow perspective
2. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) & Oracle Cloud Financials:
o Familiarity of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for integration with test automation tools
o Expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials features and tools
3. Data Management:
o Deep understanding of Oracle Financial ERP Databases/tables/fields, including SQL, PL/SQL for querying the database and supporting architectural designs of test automation
o Skills in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) for designing test automation of Oracle ERP data flows
o Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or other tools
4. System Architecture & Design:
o Experience in ERP architecture design for financial management and supporting business processes
Functional Skills:
1. Financial Accounting Knowledge:
o Deep understanding of financial accounting concepts (e.g., General Ledger, trial balances, financial close, chart of accounts)
2. Business Process Mapping:
o Ability to map business processes to Oracle Financials functionality and ensure business alignment
o Experience with process reengineering to optimize financial workflows
3. Project Management:
o Proficiency in project management techniques (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) for ERP implementation
o Knowledge of project management tools (JIRA) to track implementation progress
4. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
o Strong skills in gathering and documenting business requirements.
o Ability to translate business needs into test validation rules for Oracle Financials system
5. Testing and Quality Assurance:
o Expertise in creating and executing test cases, user acceptance testing (UAT), and regression testing
o Ability to ensure that all financial transactions and processes work as expected in the ERP system
6. Training & Documentation:
o Skills in developing training materials and conducting training sessions for end-users
o Ability to document processes, configurations, and customizations for future reference
