Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have 10 to 14 years of experience in mainframe technologies, COBOL, PL/SQL, database design and ETL tools. This role involves leading complex projects, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing ETL processes to support our mission of delivering high-quality solutions.


Roles & Responsibilities : –
Oversee mainframe operations, ensuring the efficient use of mainframe utilities and COBOL programming. 

  • Provide technical expertise in PL/SQL to optimize database performance and data retrieval processes. 
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes using DataStage and other ETL tools to ensure data accuracy and integrity. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions that meet business needs. 
  • Ensure data quality and consistency across all applications. 
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization of ETL processes to enhance system efficiency. 
  • Implement best practices for data governance and security 
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data integration issues, ensuring timely resolution to minimize impact on business operations. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation for database designs, ETL processes, and data integration workflows. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives. 



Qualifications:

– Possess a strong background in database design and mainframe technologies. 

– Demonstrate expertise in COBOL programming and IBM mainframe utilities. 

– Have extensive experience with PL/SQL and ETL tools such as DataStage. 

– Show proficiency in developing and optimizing ETL processes. 

– Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

 

– Have excellent communication and collaboration skills.
