Title: Mainframe Developer

Location: Chicago, IL – Hybrid

Mainframe – JD

8+ years of experience as a Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and IMS.
Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and data analytics tools.
Experience with IBM z/OS, z/VM, and related mainframe operating systems.
Workload Automation-Control M
Proficiency with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN) and automated build/deployment pipelines.
Advanced experience with data processing, batch processing, and mainframe storage systems.
Strong knowledge of Data Analytical Systems (DAS) and data pipelines, including ETL processes, data integration, and analytics platforms.
Experience with integrating mainframe systems with modern database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
Familiarity with Agile or DevOps methodologies, with the ability to work in an iterative, fast-paced environment.
Expertise in performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimizing large-scale mainframe applications.
Experience with batch job scheduling and data reporting using mainframe tools.

Strong understanding of system security practices, including data encryption, access control, and auditing.
