Title: Looker Lead
Duration: Long Term
Location: San Jose, CA (Remote, Locals Preferred)
Job Description:
- 9+Years of Industry Work Experience
- Hands-on experience with the Google Looker tool
- Experience in Database definition, schema design, Looker Views, Models
- Experience in LookML to create data models and queries directly within the platform
- Experience in connecting, analyzing, and gaining insights from data, providing visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Looker / Looker Studio
- Worked on BigQuery and GCP technologies
- Experience extracting data from a variety of sources, and a desire to expand those skills (working knowledge in SQL and Spark is mandatory)
- Excellent Data Analysis skills. Must be comfortable with querying and analyzing large amounts of data on Hadoop HDFS using Hive and Spark.
- Experience with Object Oriented Programming using Python and its design patterns.
- Experience handling Unix systems, for optimal usage to host enterprise web applications.
- Excellent Communication Skills to Understand and Pass on Requirements.
- GCP certifications preferred.
- Payments Industry Background good to have
