Job Title : Genesys Engineer
Location : Piscataway, NJ
We are seeking a highly skilled Genesys Engage Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our contact center solutions. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Genesys Engage, including architecture, development, and support. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless customer interactions and deliver exceptional user experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Genesys Platform Management:
Install, configure, and manage the Genesys Engage platform and associated components (e.g., SIP Server, Media Server, Framework, Routing).
Ensure high availability and scalability of the platform.
Perform upgrades and patch management.
Solution Design & Development:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions using Genesys Engage.
Develop routing strategies, IVR flows, and integrations with CRM and other third-party systems.
Create customizations using Genesys APIs and SDKs.
Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide Level 2/3 support for Genesys Engage applications.
Troubleshoot issues across the Genesys ecosystem, including voice, chat, email, and other channels.
Analyze logs and diagnose system-level issues.
Integration & Automation:
Integrate Genesys with third-party platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, or custom databases.
Automate workflows and improve operational efficiency using tools like Genesys Composer, Interaction Workspace, or custom scripts.
Monitoring & Reporting:
Set up and manage monitoring tools for performance and usage metrics.
Generate reports and insights for stakeholders to measure system performance and customer satisfaction.
Documentation & Training:
Document configurations, workflows, and troubleshooting guides.
Train team members and end-users on Genesys features and best practices.
Qualifications:
Experience:
5+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and managing Genesys Engage solutions.
Strong expertise in Genesys Framework, Routing, SIP Server, Media Server, and GVP.
Experience with Genesys WFM, Outbound, and Analytics modules is a plus.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and reporting tools.
Knowledge of telephony, SIP, and VoIP protocols.
Experience with cloud-based deployments and hybrid models.
