Role: Integration Specialist

Location: Houston, TX(3 days onsite, 2 Days remote)

Duration: 6+ Months

 

Scope:

This engagement will provide data and integration support for the gas lift project pilot and any subsequent production implementation.  Resources supplied under this agreement will be responsible for the following activities when/if determined necessary :
Data Preparation for Pilot:
Work with senior staff to identify necessary data within internal systems
Develop and optimize SQL for vendor to directly acquire data with their solution
Develop data exports as needed to supply necessary data to vendor solution where direct access is not permissible or technically possible
Developing integrations to combine data from disparate systems for easier consumption by vendor solution
QA/QC of data supplied to solution
Data Analysis and Support during pilot:
Work with the vendor to identify any supplemental data within internal systems.
Debug and support integrations and data access needs identified during the pilot
Work with staff, solution vendor, and pilot users to identify and resolve data issues
QA/QC of data issues and working with source system owners to resolve data issues
Production Implementation:  (all activities below will be as needed pending implementation details)
Develop, test, and implement data structures (views/tables) in snowflake
Develop, test, and implement integration processes as necessary to consolidate similar data from disparate systems.
Optimization of data structures and integrations
Develop, test, and implement data integrations to provide files, as necessary, to vendor solution per vendor specifications
Coordinate with source systems owners, staff, and vendor resources to develop and implement data quality rules for any integrations or data structures
Work with source system owners to identify proper data sources and design processes to integrate that for the vendor solution
Work with end users, vendor, and other staff to identify, debug, and resolve data issues
Provide production support of data and integration processes
Work activities identified below are only required during normal business hours.  After-hours support will not be included as part of this effort.

Required Skillsets and Experience:
Intermediate SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, Teradata)
Intermediate IICS
Experience with Snowflake data structures, data sharing, optimization
Standard Microsoft productivity suite
Experience with data quality tools and processes
Strong written and oral communication skills for customer and vendor interaction
Strong data analysis skills and demonstrated ability to learn new datasets quickly

Preferred Skillsets and Experience:
SQL (SAS cloud implementation)
Microsoft Azure API Management
Experience with oil and gas production operations datasets
Experience working large transaction volume time-series datasets
Experience working with data brokers/pub-sub data exchange  (Kafka, HighByte, etc…)
