Job Title: Development Manager – Risk Technology
Location: NYC, NY (Onsite 3 days per week)
Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Development Manager to lead a team within the Risk Technology division at Jefferies. The ideal candidate will possess a hands-on approach to leadership, with the ability to manage and guide development teams in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a software development team, ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to technical quality standards.
- Provide hands-on guidance and technical oversight in Java, Python, and various database technologies.
- Collaborate with senior technology leadership to align development goals with business objectives.
- Participate in team management, focusing on technical direction, resource planning, and project execution.
Required Skill Set:
- Proven experience managing development teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Python, and various database technologies.
- Ability to handle client interactions and ensure alignment between technical and business goals.
- Demonstrated seniority and executive presence to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in Broker/Dealer Risk Technology is highly desirable.

- Start Date: ASAP (Targeting late October)
- Work Environment: Hybrid (Onsite 3 days per week in NYC office)
