Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Kotlin API Developer (Preferred) / JAVA API Developer with Service Now Knowledge to join our team, specializing in backend development and cloud-native solutions. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Kotlin, Spring Boot, and AWS services such as ECS and Fargate. This role involves designing robust APIs, integrating with enterprise systems, and ensuring high-performance cloud deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

•             Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Kotlin and Spring Boot.

•             Knowledge of Service Now ITSM, CSA, CMDB

•             Deploy and manage microservices on AWS using ECS and Fargate.

•             Work with ServiceNow integrations and data flows.

•             Document APIs clearly using Swagger/OpenAPI.

•             API Development Experience to send and receive data from Service Now

•             Debug production issues in AWS environments.

•             Monitor services and performance with Splunk.

•             Collaborate with development teams using GitHub for version control and workflow management.

Required Skills:

•             5+ years of experience in backend/API development.

•             Strong hands-on expertise with Kotlin / Java and Spring Boot.

•             Proficient in AWS, especially ECS and Fargate.

•             Solid understanding of REST APIs (GET, POST, PATCH).

•             Experience with Swagger/OpenAPI documentation.

•             Familiarity with ServiceNow.

•             Strong debugging skills on AWS platforms.

•             Monitoring experience with Splunk.

•             Proficient with GitHub.

Nice to Have:

•             Experience with Docker and containerized applications, Docker Images.
