Hiring: Python Developer (Automation Platform Development) Location: Plano, Texas Duration: Long-Term Contract Experience: 10–15 Years Position Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Python Developer to join our Business Support team and contribute to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of automation solutions used for automotive multimedia systems. The ideal candidate will have strong Python programming expertise, experience with automation platforms, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and maintain automation tools and platforms using Python. • Collaborate with lead developers and stakeholders to implement new features and code enhancements. • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues in automation applications. • Provide technical support to tool users and assist in issue resolution. • Perform testing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure reliable software delivery. • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurring issues. • Improve existing automation frameworks, processes, and development standards. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. • Work closely with engineering, testing, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. Required Skills & Qualifications • 10–15 years of overall IT experience. • Strong hands-on experience in Python development. • Experience developing and maintaining automation platforms and tools. • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. • Experience with software testing, validation, and quality assurance processes. • Knowledge of version control systems and software development best practices. • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience in the automotive industry or automotive multimedia systems. • Familiarity with automation frameworks and continuous improvement methodologies. • Experience supporting enterprise-level automation solutions.
