We are seeking an experienced Test Manager with a strong background in Healthcare Payor systems and EDI Transactions to lead testing efforts for mission-critical healthcare applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end testing strategies, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations, and overseeing the validation of EDI transactions. This role requires deep expertise in 837 (Claims), 835 (Remittance), 270/271 (Eligibility), 276/277 (Claim Status), and 278 (Prior Authorization) transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Management & Strategy

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for healthcare payor applications and EDI transaction processing.

• Ensure adherence to HIPAA, CMS, and other regulatory compliance standards.

• Lead functional, regression, system integration, UAT, and automation testing initiatives.

• Define and monitor testing KPIs, defect tracking, and resolution processes.

EDI Transactions & Healthcare Testing

• Validate HIPAA-compliant EDI transactions (837, 835, 270/271, 276/277, 278).

• Conduct EDI mapping validation, schema compliance, and transaction lifecycle testing.

• Collaborate with claims processing, enrollment, eligibility, and billing teams to ensure data accuracy and seamless transaction flow.

• Oversee testing for EDI file exchanges between payors, providers, and clearinghouses.

Leadership & Stakeholder Collaboration

• Lead and mentor a team of QA analysts, automation engineers, and business testers.

• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to define test requirements.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors, clearinghouses, and trading partners for interoperability testing.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, ensuring testing is aligned with development sprints.

Test Automation & Tools

• Define and implement test automation strategies for EDI transactions using tools like Selenium, Postman, RestAssured, or PyTest.

• Utilize EDI testing tools (Edifecs, Sterling Integrator, HIPAA Validator, or X12 parsers) for transaction validation.

• Leverage test management tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, qTest, or Zephyr for tracking defects and test execution.

 10+ years of experience in QA & Testing, with at least 5+ years in a leadership role.

 Strong expertise in Healthcare Payor domain and EDI Transactions (X12, HIPAA 5010 standards).

 Experience with claims processing, eligibility verification, and remittance advice transactions.

 Hands-on experience with EDI validation tools and automation frameworks.

 Solid understanding of SQL for backend data validation and API testing.

 Knowledge of FHIR, HL7, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines is a plus.

 Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
