Role: System Engineer -Nutanix HCI

Location: : New York, NY 10003 (Day Onsite)

Contract duration :Long Term

Minimum years of experience: 10+ years

Required Skillset: – Nutanix, Storage, Containers, Clustering, data center, AHV, VMWare and remote access technologies.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration, and management of Nutanix CI and Files clusters

• Responsible for successful delivery of Nutanix activities within the DC landscape

• Troubleshooting hardware and software issues in Nutanix environments.

• Nutanix AHV (Acropolis Hypervisor) administration.

• Prism Central and Prism Element management.

• Migration of workloads and data to/from Nutanix clusters.

• Understanding of Nutanix LCM, firmware and BIOS upgrades.

• Through understanding of AHV Hypervisor along with platform level support

• VMware vSphere infrastructure installation and management.

• VMware ESXi hypervisor administration.

• Infrastructure appliances and virtual machines provisioning and administration

• Troubleshooting CVM related issues.

• Ability to fully understand the ITSM Workflow with hands on experience of Service Now.

• Strong problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communications skills.

• Ability to handle production issues proactively and resolve them with expectation of support beyond weekdays.
