Role – Senior Business Analyst 5

Location – Lansing, MI (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week from day 1: Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Job Type – Contract

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilitate Meetings: Lead meetings with the business clients and technical team to gather requirements, project specifications, and discuss progress.
  2. Requirements Gathering: Independently lead requirement sessions, documenting detailed business and technical needs.
  3. Backlog Management: Maintain the backlog of work items in Azure DevOps to support ongoing operational and project needs.
  4. Project Task Management: Oversee the tasks, timelines, and communications involved in the Change Management lifecycle, ensuring clear communication between the business product owner and the development team.
  5. Track Progress: Monitor sprints and ticket progress in Azure DevOps, ensuring timely completion and addressing any blockers.
  6. Policy Adherence: Ensure the team complies with the department’s change management policies.
  7. Documentation: Maintain detailed project documentation on the SharePoint Site.
  8. Reporting: Provide management with updates including project status reports and resource demand projections.
  9. Critical Thinking: Be detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively support complex projects.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ Years – Exposure to Complex IT Web Applications within the past 5 years.
  • 5+ Years – Experience in a professional office environment.
  • 3+ Years – Experience as a Business Analyst supporting software development projects.
  • 3+ Years – Ability to lead meetings, conduct training sessions, and create oral/written reports and presentations.
  • 3+ Years – Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • 2+ Years – Experience as a liaison between development teams and project managers/business clients on software development projects.

6+ Months – Experience with Azure DevOps for
