Job Description:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets using SQL to support business decision-making and identify trends and patterns.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Work closely with IT and development teams to ensure solutions align with business requirements and objectives.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops with business users to understand their needs and provide guidance on process improvements.
- Conduct gap analysis and recommend solutions to bridge identified gaps in current processes.
- Support the implementation of new systems and processes, including testing, training, and change management activities.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements in technology to ensure the organization remains competitive and compliant with regulations.
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the insurance industry.
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and strategically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Experience with business process modeling and improvement methodologies.
- Familiarity with insurance products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
