MEAN Stack Developer
Location: Remote
Job Overview:
As a MEAN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance, scalable, and secure web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js). You will work closely with other developers, designers, and product managers to build robust web solutions that meet both business and technical requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code.
- Integrate third-party services and APIs to enhance application functionality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
- Work on both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
- Ensure the applications are responsive, secure, and meet industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain high coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and define technical and functional requirements.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience working with the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, Node.js).
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or similar.
- Strong understanding of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Proficiency in working with databases, particularly MongoDB.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, or similar is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a bonus.
- Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Docker or containerized applications.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Experience with authentication protocols like OAuth, JWT, etc.
- Familiarity with server-side JavaScript frameworks such as NestJS is a plu
