AWS Cloud Database Engineer -SQL DBA (Hybrid Role 3 days a week)
San Antonio, TX (Onsite) Need only people from TX state only.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 10+ years of SQL server administrator experience.
- Proficiency in SQL server , Always On, PowerShell and Terraform
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Strong PowerShell scripting abilities for automation and troubleshoot/debug existing PowerShell scripts and integration tasks.
Technical Skills:
- Primary: SQL DBA, Always On, PowerShell, AWS (EC2 instances) and Terraform (Extensive experience)
- Secondary: PostgreSQL/Auora PostgreSQL and Oracle RDS.
- Experience with cloud environments (AWS).
- Knowledge of database security best practices and high availability setups for Cloud Environments.
- Understanding/building of the Automation and interact with Application team for troubleshooting and debugging framework issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- It’s good to have cloud platform Certifications (AWS).
- Experience with additional automation tools (DMS, etc) or programming languages (PowerShell)
Responsibilities:
Database Design & Management
- Design and manage highly availability solutions, scalable databases using SQL Server, Always On and Windows Clusters.
- Work collaboratively with the Offshore and Onshore team.
- Focal point of contact between with Customer and Solugenix team on technical/Solution discussions.
- Strong Written/Verbal communication who can deal customer on daily basis.
- Resource able to work in hybrid model and preferred locals only.
