Role: Agile Senior Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain geospatial applications using Java to support business objectives.
Collaborate with business analysts to capture and analyze business requirements.
Utilize Snowflake and Spark to process and analyze large datasets efficiently.
Design and implement data models and structures to support geospatial data analysis.
Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust data validation and cleansing processes.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members on geospatial development best practices.
Conduct performance tuning and optimization of geospatial applications to ensure high performance.
Develop and maintain documentation for geospatial applications and processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate geospatial applications with other business systems.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development and data analysis.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to geospatial applications and data processing.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Qualifications

Possess strong technical skills in Java, Capture – Business Analyst, PD&PM – Data Analyst, Snowflake, and Spark.
Demonstrate experience in developing and maintaining geospatial applications.
Exhibit proficiency in data modeling and data analysis techniques.
Show expertise in performance tuning and optimization of applications.
Have a solid understanding of data validation and cleansing processes.
Display excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Possess strong communication and collaboration skills.
Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial development.
Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a hybrid work model.
Show a commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
Have experience in conducting code reviews and providing feedback.
Exhibit the ability to develop and maintain documentation.
