We are seeking a skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer to join our dynamic team remotely. As a MERN Stack Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing scalable solutions, and ensuring the technical performance of our applications.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to create seamless, responsive user interfaces.
- Build reusable, testable, and efficient code.
- Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Design and implement data storage solutions (databases, cloud services, etc.).
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Perform unit testing and debugging to ensure high-quality output.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Collaborate in an agile environment with product managers, designers, and other developers.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure project timelines are met.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in web development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a MERN Stack Developer or in a similar full-stack development role.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including ES6+ features.
- Experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.).
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming and callbacks, promises, and async/await.
- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with GraphQL.
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
- Understanding of web performance optimization and security practices.
