Job Description –

Title : DATA CONVERSION LEAD (HCM) – ORACLE ERP DATA MIGRATION

Location: hybrid Chicago, IL

 

Developing data management plans with solid experience in developing data cleansing strategies, action plans, reconciliation plans and scripts.

? Good experience in understanding data models, data integrity and normalization rules, data extraction, load and transformation scripts.

? Functional experience to understand the business context of data in Oracle E-Business, PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll and migrating the on-premises data to relevant Oracle Fusion Cloud Services.

? Determining the validity of the values of the data elements and reviewing and validating data relationships.

? Coordinating with data owners to validate cleansed data (e.g., reconciling HCM and payroll master and transactional data before and after migration).

? Determining data migration requirements.

? Defining roles and responsibilities for the data migration activities.

? Reviewing and providing comments and suggestions on the data management plan, data migration plan, checklist, timeline, and conversion report delivered.

? Documenting migration activity timelines for mock conversions and production deployment.

? Developing a data migration checklist and sign-off process to ensure completion of planned activities.

? Mapping the data in the format provided in conversion templates.

? Assisting with determining data migration security controls.

? Developing unit and end-to-end integration migration test plans (including testing for data extraction, transformation, data loading, and data validation).

? Solid experience with data transformation and data load testing.

? Validating data of multiple mock conversions and the full migration coordinating with unit and end-to-end integration testing to ensure the flow of data from the source applications to the target applications is accurate.

? Documenting the end-to-end data migration test results and lessons learned report.

? Executing Data Conversion cut-over plans.

Qualifications:

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

? Experience in migrating master data and transactional data from On-Premise Oracle E-Business and Oracle PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud.

? Expertise in Data Migration of Master data and transactional data including Extraction, Cleansing, Transformation, Loading and Validation from Legacy systems to Oracle Cloud.

? Experience with Historical Data Migration activities for Master and Transactional Data.

? Experience with Oracle Data Migration processes including preparation of migration strategy, conversion plan, timing of data loads, object dependencies, sequencing of tasks.

? Experience in using Automated Data Conversion and ETL Tools.

? Experience in working with Oracle HCM and Time and Labor Cloud modules.

? Excellent oral and written communication skills.

? Extensive interaction with functional and technical leads, business users, and Oracle SME’s.

Type of Education Required:

? Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university is required.

? A major in Business Administration, Information Technology, or Engineering is preferred.

? Master’s Degree preferably an MBA with a major in MIS, Human Resources Management is preferred.

Oracle ERP Cloud certifications preferred.

? Oracle Data Integrator Implementation Specialist

? Oracle Cloud Architect

? Certified Time and Labor Implementor

? Certified Human Resource (Core-HR) Implementor

Type of Experience and Number of Years:

? One recent end-to-end full life cycle experience as a Oracle Fusion data migration lead implementing Oracle HCM and Payroll Cloud Services.

? Experience utilizing Oracle and other industry leading ETL tools and technologies to support large scale ERP data migration efforts.

? 5+ years’ of experience in managing and leading Oracle Fusion Cloud Data migration workstream- On-Premise Oracle E-Business and Oracle PeopleSoft to Oracle Fusion Cloud.

? At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience leading ERP Data Migration activities.

? At least five (5) years of experience managing data migration activities for Oracle ERP Cloud Tech stack.

? Experience in Education (K-12) ERP Oracle Fusion Cloud Implementation, preferred
