Job Posting: Senior Front-End Engineer II

A Day in the Life
As a Senior Engineer II, you will leverage your technical expertise and mentoring skills to lead and contribute to the development and operations of high-impact features and systems. You’ll work closely with a Technology Manager, providing guidance to a team of engineers while serving as an escalation point for production concerns. Your responsibilities will span the entire lifecycle of production systems, from pre-production to post-production.
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to an agile team delivering high-revenue-impacting features and migrations.
- Mentor and train team members in engineering best practices.
- Ensure production readiness through delegation and hands-on engineering assignments.
- Conduct research to support product troubleshooting, optimization, and development.
- Develop and maintain tools for engineering automation and production-level systems.
- Participate in on-call support rotations and monitor key metrics for trends.
- Guide engineering design, standards verification, and reliability monitoring.
- Actively participate in the Engineering Community of Practice.
Qualifications
Experience:
- 5-8+ years of engineering experience, ideally in an enterprise environment.
- Expertise in Single Page Web Apps using React, JavaScript, Node.js, Webpack, Next.js, and GraphQL.
- Proven experience designing, developing, and maintaining GraphQL schemas and resolvers.
- Proficiency in testing JavaScript applications (Unit to E2E testing).
- Hands-on experience with CDNs, caching, security, and routing rules.
- Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience with application observability, system design, and performance optimization.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices.
