Job Description:

  • 10+ years of experience in operations research, preferably in the semiconductor or high-tech industry.
  • Proficiency in optimization techniques, statistical analysis, and simulation tools.
  • Expertise in mathematical modeling, linear/non-linear programming, and stochastic processes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or C++.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes (e.g., wafer fabrication, lithography).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with machine learning techniques and their application to operational challenges.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems like SAP or MES systems in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Certifications in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. A Ph.D. is preferred.

 

Responsibilities :-

  • Optimization and Modeling:
    • Develop and implement mathematical models and algorithms to solve complex operational problems in semiconductor manufacturing and supply chain.
    • Perform linear, non-linear, integer programming, and simulation modeling to improve production efficiency.
  • Data Analysis and Decision Support:
    • Analyze large datasets to identify inefficiencies, trends, and areas for improvement.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership to support strategic planning and operational decision-making.
  • Supply Chain and Production Planning
    • Optimize production schedules, inventory levels, and supply chain networks to minimize costs and meet demand.
    • Identify and mitigate bottlenecks in the production process to maximize throughput.
  • Process Improvement
    • Design and test strategies for process improvements and automation in wafer fabrication, packaging, and testing.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to implement new processes and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Tool Development and Integration
    • Develop and maintain tools that integrate with existing systems to support real-time decision-making and planning.
    • Ensure alignment with industry standards and compliance requirements.
  • Collaboration and Communication
    • Partner with engineers, IT professionals, and business teams to align operations research projects with business goals.
    • Present findings and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
