Project Overview: The resource will support with Distribution & Logistics business functions and associated systems, including providing Level 2 support for Manhattan WMOS 2010, 2018. In addition, the resource will also support project initiatives involving Logistics Control Tower, Machine Automation.
Role Scope / Deliverables: – System Design & Development:
Design system solutions that meet business requirements and align with IT architecture standards.
Develop detailed design documents, including data models, process flows, and system interfaces.
Partner with business analysts and architects on technical design and coordinate development work with vendors as well as internal development teams.
– System Implementation & Integration:
Run the implementation of new sites, processes, and improvements to existing systems.
Coordinate with various teams to ensure seamless integration with other applications and systems.
Configure WMS Manhattan 2010 and 2018 systems to align to business needs.
Conduct system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure accurate functionality.
– Support & Maintenance:
Delivery and support of incident/break/fix and production support.
Offer continuous support for deployed systems, including identifying problems and devising practical solutions.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals and technical guides.
Monitor system performance and conduct regular maintenance to ensure efficient operation.
– Training & Development:
Conduct training sessions for end-users and technical staff on new systems and improvements.
Develop training materials and user guides to facilitate knowledge transfer.
Key Skills: Minumum 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Analyst or technical developer experience on Manhattan WMOS (2010 and 2018). NOT WMS ACTIVE.
2-3 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL, including stored procedures/trigger development.
2-3 years of experience with technologies and processing environments used to support the Pick, Pack, Ship (PPS) process, such as Warehouse Mgmt, Transportation Mgmt, and Order Mgmt systems; experience with QAD Precision/Trax is also preferred.
2-3 years of experience working with Integration technologies and systems, such as XML, webMethods, or Oracle Fusion Middleware (OFM).
1-2 years of experience with reporting tools, such as IBM Cognos.
1-2 years of experience working with and supporting machine automation systems, such as conveyors, print and apply applicators, in-line weigh scales, and case sealers.
