Power Platform Developer

Location: 101 north 14th street, Richmond, VA-Hybrid (Local with DL)

Duration: 15 months plus        

Interview: Webcam Interview Only

ON SITE REQUIRED: 1 a week required.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Power Platform Developer to design, develop, and implement solutions using Microsoft’s Power Platform. The ideal candidate will have experience building applications, automating workflows, and creating custom solutions to support organizational needs. This role requires collaboration with stakeholders, technical teams, and end-users to ensure solutions meet requirements and deliver value.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI to address business challenges.
Build custom connectors to integrate data from external systems and third-party services.
Develop and maintain workflows using Power Automate to automate manual processes and improve efficiency.
Create dashboards and reports in Power BI to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
Implement security models and governance frameworks within Power Platform solutions.
Perform system analysis, design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation for Power Platform solutions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical guidance throughout the solution development lifecycle.
Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Power Platform applications and workflows.
Maintain data integrity and ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
Stay updated on new features, capabilities, and updates to the Power Platform suite.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
[3-5+] years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
Proficiency in developing custom solutions using Power Apps Canvas Apps and Model-Driven Apps.
Strong understanding of relational databases, including experience with Dataverse, SQL Server, or equivalent.
Experience building workflows and automations using Power Automate.
Knowledge of Power BI for creating visualizations, dashboards, and data models.
Familiarity with APIs, connectors, and integrating external systems.
Understanding of Microsoft 365, Azure, and related technologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred:
Certifications: Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals or Power Platform Developer Associate.
Experience in a government or public sector environment.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Soft Skills:
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
