Gen AI Architect Position at Rahway, NJ – Hybrid role

  •  Experience: Minimum 5 years in technical architecture, platform design, or related roles.
  • Technical Expertise: Proficiency with Databricks, OpenAI, Dataiku, AWS, DBT, Qlik Sense, and ThoughtSpot, including platform design, architecture, and deployment strategies.
  • GenAI Concepts: Strong understanding of Generative AI (GenAI) concepts, including foundational models, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and integration of GenAI solutions into enterprise ecosystems.
  • POC/POV Experience: Proven experience in conducting POCs/POVs, evaluating new technologies (including GenAI tools), and preparing recommendation reports.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to identify efficiencies in current architecture and propose innovative solutions.
  • Collaboration: Proven track record of working in cross-functional teams and engaging in collaborative forums like architecture forums.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare and present technical recommendations to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with capability mapping and reference architecture development.
  • Exposure to technology lifecycle processes and market research methodologies.
  • Experience in a contracting or consulting capacity.

 Key Responsibilities:
1. Architecture Program Execution:

  • Develop and manage capability maps and reference architectures.
  • Oversee the technology lifecycle process, including researching market trends, emerging technologies, and conducting POCs/POVs to evaluate their relevance to the organization.
  • Provide detailed recommendation reports based on POC/POV outcomes.

2. Technical Architecture and Platform Design:

  • Design and architect platforms, define deployment strategies, and optimize the use of the current tech stack, including Databricks, OpenAI, Dataiku, AWS, DBT, Qlik Sense, and ThoughtSpot.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in architecture, tech stack, and integration designs and propose actionable solutions.

3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Work closely with senior architects, following their direction and contributing to architecture strategies.
  • Engage with various technology-focused teams in the CTO organization as technical and architectural experts.
  • Collaborate with internal technical architects and participate in forums such as architecture forums to bring in and discuss new ideas.

4. Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare comprehensive recommendation reports and presentations based on evaluations, insights, and technical findings.
  • Actively contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation of best practices and lessons learned.
