Job Title: Senior Java Developer /Senior Java/AWS expert
Location: Scottsdale, AZ – Onsite
Duration: 12+ months +
NEED AWS EXPERT EXPERIENCE ::: AWS is critical. If they have experience deploying to cloud it would be best.
- We need local candidates, as this is hybrid onsite so much already be in Phoenix area
must be from financial domain, Have to have native AWS experience
Must have LinkedIn profile and Must have AWS certification
Update from Manager:
Goal: as they migrate, grab onto as many native AWS user services, API gate, Dynamo not just moving the code.
Looking for:
Take at least one service and migrate to AWS. From Oracle to Aurora database on the cloud. The app itself and the data itself are simple.
Need assistance with how to deploy, observability, set up the network, how do I work with the infrastructure at AWS..
This is how we are going to move and build our apps in AWS
Someone who can through a lot of reviews with diff folks, making a playbook to follow when moving to future services.
Will still be coding, proof of concepts, documents, proving it out, then passing on to the team.
Teaching: we need to use a database “here is how you do it”
Prioritize AWS then Fin tech, team needs help with how we get to the cloud.
Someone to build the applications on AWS and JAVA
SQS is the amazon native message que, expect someone working hands on is using more SQS than KAFKA
Just a heads up, we will likely be opening 3 – Sr. Software Engineer or Staff Engineer Java roles in the coming days – 6 month contract to hire
From the hiring manager – all need to be Java programming experts (5-10 years with Java/SpringBoot and would love to have AWS or AWS Certifications).
